DASAN

Dreaming of a better future with DASAN technologies and values

DASAN Group was founded in 1993 under the name "DASAN," the pen name of "Dasan Jeong Yak-Yong," who toiled to rule the populace by embracing the new ideology of Western Learning and science and technology from the West in the late Joseon Dynasty.

DASAN Group's matrix company, DASAN Networks, took on Dasan's innovative attitude and commitment to fact-based into the truth, and it created domestic network equipment that embodied this philosophy.

Through this, DASAN Networks helped Korea, the country with the highest high-speed Internet penetration rate, to create an environment where many people may utilize high-quality Internet at a reasonable price and made new history as a pioneer in the development of domestic network equipment.

DASAN Group is an organization that respects Dasan Jeong Yak-Yong’s philosophy of managing people and is committed to developing new technologies and upholding the spirit of service to improve the quality of life for everyone in our society.

A company that constantly
pursues challenges and
innovations

Since 2010, DASAN Group has worked to diversify its business and market, building on the foundation of high-speed Internet technology.

Through this, we are expanding and going global with our business portfolio into areas like automotive parts, industrial heat exchangers, and electromagnetic functional materials, while also supporting B2C industries like travel, cosmetics, and apparel as new growth drivers.

Through responsible management of each business, the affiliates of the DASAN Group pursue quick and effective corporate operation while working together to develop the technologies and ideals that will shape the future, such as connected cars and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Additionally, through a relentless pursuit of technological and managerial innovation, we continuously push ourselves to build small but powerful global companies in a variety of sectors, including information and communication, engineering, and the parts and materials for automobiles, which form the foundation for the development of the national industrial sector.
